We charge planning fees to provide you with expert, personalized travel services that save you time, eliminate stress, and ensure every detail of your trip is thoughtfully curated to exceed expectations.

Our Travel Fees & What's Included

Service Packages

Essential Package – $300

Ideal for simple, single-destination trips.

​

  • Up to 2 itinerary proposals

  • Booking of accommodations & 1 mode of transportation (e.g., flights or rail)

  • One round of itinerary revisions

  • Concierge recommendations (non-booked)

​

Premium Package – $500

Perfect for multi-city or international trips.

​

  • Up to 3 itinerary proposals

  • Flights, accommodations, tours, ground transfers

  • Two rounds of itinerary revisions

  • Dining and activity recommendations

  • Email support during travel

Signature Package – $850+

Tailored for luxury, complex, or multi-traveler/group trips.

​

  • Unlimited itinerary concepts

  • Full concierge support (restaurant, tours, transfers, spa, etc.)

  • Three rounds of itinerary revisions

  • 24/7 support during travel

  • Custom travel app or PDF itinerary

Itinerary Change Fees (Post-Approval)

Once a final itinerary is approved, change fees apply to protect the integrity of bookings and your time.

​

Type of Change Fee

  • First change (minor – 1 item)$50

  • Second change (moderate – 2–3 items)$100

  • Third change or more (significant edit)$150+ per request

  • Full rework of itinerary$300+

Changes due to supplier cancellation are handled at no charge unless full rework is required.

 

Additional Fees​

  • Rush Planning (within 14 days) - $150

  • Trip Cancellation (client-initiated) - $100 per traveler

  • Rebooking due to personal reasons - $75 per itinerary

  • Concierge add-on (restaurant, spa, VIP - )$100–$300+

  • Group Travel Coordination -     $25–$100 per person

 

Retainer & Annual VIP Option

For frequent travelers or corporate clients

  • Annual VIP Travel Membership – $1,500/year

    • Unlimited planning for personal and business trips

    • Priority response

    • No change fees

    • Dedicated support​​​

Airfare Assistance Level
Applicable if purchasing airfare only, otherwise airfare services are included in the package price above. 

Essential Level

2 Itineraries, Self Booking

This option is great if you will be using your points to purchase your flights.

Domestic (within the United States) - $50.00

International (outside the United States) - $100.00

​

Premium Level

2 Itineraries,  Agent Booking

​

Domestic (within the United States) - $100.00 per Ticket

International (outside the United States) - $150.00 per Ticket

Signature Level

3 Itineraries, Agent Booking, Change Assistance

​

Domestic (within the United States) - $150.00 per Ticket

International (outside the United States) - $200.00 per Ticket​

  • Airfare Assistance is pre-paid. Once payment is received, our team will begin researching your flight itineraries. 

  • All ticketing charges are non-refundable. 

  • Any unused portion of any level is non-reimbursable

  • Additional itineraries will incur a $25.00 charge each.

  • Additional fares due to airline changes, cancellations, or delays, are at the client's expense.

  • Once itinerary is confirmed, any flight change requests will be completed for a premium of $50.00 per ticket.​​​

If you are traveling outside of the United States, The Curious Traveler recommends that you register your trip with The Smart Traveler Enrollment Program.

The Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) is a free service that allows U.S. citizens and nationals traveling abroad to enroll their trip with the nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate.
